Sharissa R. Hogan, the daughter of Tammy and Robert Chittenden and Richard Hogan Jr., all of Fort Plain, was united in marriage to Darrin R. Brownell, the son of Pauline and John Brownell of Fort Plain, at 1 p.m. March 17.
The ceremony took place at St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kenneth Dingman officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father and stepfather.

The matron of honor was Kaila Hayner of Fort Richardson, Alaska, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Adriana Schuyler of Fort Plain. The bridal attendants were: Tiffani Hogan of Fort Plain, sister of bride; Cecilia Hill of Sprakers, cousin of bride; Brittni Sauve of Nelliston; and Nicole and Gabrielle Brownell, both of Fort Plain, sisters of bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid was Maura DiMezza of Canajoharie, cousin of bride. The miniature bride was Summer Anderson of Copperas Cove, Texas, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Sophia Brownell of Fort Plain, niece of bridegroom.
The best men were Christopher Brownell, cousin of bridegroom and Joshua Brownell, brother of bridegroom, both of Fort Plain. The ushers were Dan Brownell Jr. and Trever Brownell, both of Canajoharie, cousins of bridegroom; Jacob Jones of Fort Plain, Charlie Brownell, uncle of bridegroom and Anthony Hogan, brother of bride, both of Fort Plain. The junior usher was Cian DiMezza of Canajoharie, cousin of bride. The miniature bridegroom was Tyler Anderson of Copperas Cove, cousin of the bride. The ringbearer was Braydon Hayner of Fort Richardson, nephew of the bride.
A reception for family and friends took place at the South Minden Firehouse.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Fort Plain High School and is employed by Liberty Enterprises of Amsterdam.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Fort Plain High School and a 2008 graduate of the State University of New York at Canton, St. Lawrence County. He is the manager of Parts Plus, Fort Plain.
