John and Doreen Kroup of Gloversville, announce the engagement of their son, Andrew John Kroup, to Shelbey Lynn Lyons, the daughter of Shelley Shanahan and Ronald Lyons, both of Johnstown.
Lyons is taking a course at Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Board of Cooperative Educational Services for cosmetology.
Kroup is a 2010 graduate of Gloversville High School and is employed at the Holland Garden Apartments.
