TROY - Hudson Valley Community College won both ends of its doubleheader with Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Tuesday at Joe Bruno Stadium.
In the first game, the Vikings scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to post an 8-7 victory. In the second game, Hudson Valley scored six runs in the third inning to post a 7-5 win.
In the first game, Alex Lushkevich was 2-for-3 with a double, four runs scored and two stolen bases for HVCC, while Dennis Buckley was 2-for-4 with two doubles.
In the second game, Andrew Kozak was 2-for-3 with a double for HVCC, while Sean Geisel was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
On Sunday, FMCC lost the first game of a scheduled doubleheader at Schenectady County Community College, 5-1. The second game was rained out.
Mike Nowak threw a five-hitter for Schenectady County, striking out nine to earn the win.
A.J. Ragone had a single and a double for the Royals.
Dillon Holcomb had two singles for FMCC.
FMCC will host HVCC in a doubleheader Thursday at 2 p.m.
