JOHNSTOWN - The second annual Section II vs. Section III Lacrosse Showdown will take place at Knox Field on Saturday.
The event will feature three games beginning at 10 a.m.
The first game features Johnstown against Utica Proctor at 10 a.m. In the second game, Colonie will face Rome Free Academy at 1 p.m. In the final game of the day, Glens Falls will meet Clinton at 4 p.m..
Admission to the games will be free.
In the weeks leading up to this event, the six participating teams have been fundraising as part of the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer Initiative Program. The program unites the American Cancer Society and local high school and grade school coaches in the fight against cancer.
