John and Sharon Poling of Gloversville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Poling, to Austin Davis, the son of William and Virginia Davis of Guilderland.
Poling, a 2004 graduate of Gloversville High School and a 2008 graduate of The College of St. Rose with a bachelor's degree in music education, is working toward a master's degree at Boston University. She is employed by the Greater Johnstown School District as an elementary music teacher.
Davis is a 2003 graduate of Mohonasen High School and recently graduated from The Utica Fire Academy. He is employed as a firefighter at Albany International Airport and as a contractor with Jim Smith Contracting.
