Rachel E. Killips, the daughter of Tom and Deborah Killips of Troy, Rensselaer County, was united in marriage to Robert (Bucky) Johnson III, the son of Robert Johnson Jr. (the late Gail Johnson) and stepmother, Claudia Johnson of Stratford, at 2 p.m. Aug 13, 2011.
The ceremony took place at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Wintermute, pastor of The First Baptist Church of Little Falls, Herkimer County, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Jessica Johnson of Auburn, Cayuga County. The bridesmaids were Samantha Foley of Niskayuna and Tayler LaClair of Wynantskill, Rensselaer County, cousins of the bride; Becky Criscuola of Locust Valley, Nassau County, Chris Turner-Cooney of Troy, and Louise Gava of Canton, St. Lawrence County. The flower girl was Kyrah Johnson of Dolgeville.
The best man was Brendt Johnson of Auburn, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Randy Johnson Jr., Aaron Johnson, cousins of the bridegroom, Shane Morrill, and Pat Hoffa, all of Dolgeville, and Kevin Griffin of Stratford. The ringbearer was Samuel Johnson of Stratford, brother of the bridegroom.
The readings were done by Jim Carras of Troy, godfather to the bride; and Roy Johnson of Fairfield, Herkimer County, uncle of the bridegroom.
A reception for 120 guests took place a The Country Club of Troy following the ceremony.
A mini trip took place to Boston, Mass. after the wedding and the wedding trip took place in February to Costa Rica. The couple resides in Dolgeville.
