Ronna Hackert of Hagaman announces the engagement of her daughter, Amanda Fisher, also the daughter of the late Roger Fisher, to James Carroll, the son of Cynthia Lovegrove of Castleton, Rensselaer County, and Terry Carroll of Amsterdam.
A wedding is planned for August.
