Marcie Elizabeth Rajter, the daughter of John M. and Rosemary Rajter of Tribes Hill, was united in marriage to Peter James Davey Jr., the son of Peter J. and Kathryn Davey Sr. of Cranston, R.I. at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 6, 2011.
The ceremony took place at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Loudonville, Albany County. The Rev. Ronald Brassard of Cranston, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Jamie Rajter of South Glens Falls, Saratoga County. The bridal attendants were Kelly DiNatale of Fonda, cousin of the bride; Amy DiMezza of Amsterdam, Laura Klein of Hudson, Columbia County, Marissa Sweet of Buffalo, Erie County, and Lauren Tegnander of Gansevoort, Saratoga County. The junior bridesmaid was Ashley Morris of Farmingville Suffolk County, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Gianna DiNatale of Fonda, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Patrick J. Davey of Rockville, Md., brother of the bridegroom. The ushers were Michael Rajter of South Glens Falls, brother of the bride; Matthew and Christopher Davey of Cranston, brothers of the bridegroom; Paul Gorman and Matthew Maurano, both of Providence, R.I., Jeffrey Graves of Draper, Utah and Matthew Smollin of Sandy, Utah. The readers were James Sturtevant of Portland, Maine, Nathan Vertucci of Troy, Rensselaer County, cousin of the bride and Carolyn Ritter of Waterbury, Vt., aunt and godmother of the bridegroom. The gift bearers were Nimish Patel of Albany, and Stephen Esker of New York City. The organist was Terry Lindsay of Connecticut. The soloists were Christopher Davey of Cranston, brother of the bridegroom; and Stephanie Piraino, of Rockville, Md.
A reception followed the ceremony at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia.
A wedding trip took place in Hawaii. The couple resides in Williston, Vt.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School; a 2007 magna cum laude graduate from Siena College, Loudonville with a bachelor's degree in sociology-history; and a 2009 graduate with a master's degree in teaching from Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah. She is employed by the Burlington School District in Burlington, Vt.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School in Cranston and a 2008 graduate with a pharmacy doctorate degree from Albany College of Pharmacy. He is employed as a pharmacist in Essex Junction, Vt.
