Chelsi Douglass, the daughter of Mark and Roxanne Douglass of Glen, was united in marriage to Jeffrey Bates, the son of Mike Bates and the late Kathleen Bates of Grapevine, Texas on May 6, 2011.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School and is a full-time online student at Liberty University. She works as a personal care aide.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Carroll High School, Southlake, Texas and attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla. He is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed in Norfolk, Va.
