GLOVERSVILLE - City police are looking for a man and woman who allegedly stole a 1-carat diamond valued at $8,000 from Castiglione Jewelers.
Police said the man and woman were at the store around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 17 and asked to see loose diamonds. They were able to swap a diamond with a cubic zirconia during an inspection, police said.
Police are asking residents to look at surveillance photos of the alleged suspects to help with identifying them. Residents can call detective Joseph Kadle at 773-4502.
