MECHANICVILLE - The Fonda-Fultonville and Mechanicville wrestling teams battled to a 33-33 tie and the Braves were awarded the 34-33 Colonial Council victory on criteria Thursday night at Mechanicville High School.
Ryan Park (152) and Eric Moyer (285) won by pin fall, while Richard Bagley picked up the victory by decision at 170.
Jackson Simpson (99), Kelsey Gray (106) and Cody Fisher received forfeits for Fonda-Fultonville.
"I am very proud of the boys and girl tonight," Fonda-Fultonville coach Matt Lewis said. "We had some tough matchups. They stayed focused and got the job done."
