JOHNSTOWN - On a night when just two weight classes were wrestled on the mat, the Johnstown wrestling team dropped a 42-30 decision to Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council match Wednesday.
In the only two head-to-head matchups, Scotia-Glenville won both by pinfall to earn the win.
It was the first win of the season for the Tartans, who improved to 1-22 overall and 1-4 in Foothills Council competition.

Jon DiPace pinned Johnstown's Garrett Hadcock in 1:31 at 195 pounds and Joe Graham pinned the Sir Bills' Ethan Hale in 1:07 at 285 pounds.
Josh Saddlemire (113 pounds), Josh Culora (126), Cody Cooke (132), Kyle Merritt (138) and Nick Leffler (145) added forfeit wins for Scotia-Glenville.
Nate Dutcher (99), Brandyn Ainsworth (160), Austin Brand (170), Austin Manchester (182) and Pat Morrison (220) also posted forfeit wins for Johnstown.
There were no matches at 106, 120 and 152 pounds.
Johnstown (2-22 overall, 0-5 Foothills) will travel to Fonda-Fultonville on Tuesday for a non-league contest.
