Kari Christman, the daughter of Timothy and Cindy Christman of Ephratah, was united in marriage to Shane Town, the son of Robert and Theresa Town of Johnstown, at 3:30 p.m. July 9, 2011.
The ceremony took place at Lanzi's on the Lake. The Rev. George Ryan, grandfather of the bridegroom, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Amy Christman of Ephratah. The bridal attendants were Alyssa Wilson and Amy Solar, both of Johnstown.
The best man was Anthony Burton of Tampa, Fla. The ushers were Robert Stevens of Caroga Lake and Andrew Kennedy of Niskayuna.
A reception for 100 guests took place at Lanzi's on the Lake.
A wedding trip took place in the Caribbean. The couple resides in Johnstown.
