Meghan Hartnett, the daughter of Bob and Margaret Hartnett of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Jason Sweet, the son of Margaret and Larry Coolidge of Gloversville, and the late William Sweet, on Oct. 1.

The ceremony took place at the First Presbyterian Church, Broadalbin. The Rev. Linda Martin officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The attendant was Frank Sweet, son of the bridegroom.

A reception for family and friends immediately followed the ceremony at the church hall.

The couple resides in Gloversville.

The bride is a graduate of Gloversville High School. She is employed as a teaching assistant at the Crossroads Center for Children, Rotterdam, and as the organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Broadalbin.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Gloversville High School. He is a captain with the Gloversville Fire Department.
