Jamie Spraker, the daughter of Jake and Nancy Spraker of Mayfield, was united in marriage to David McLear, the son of Michael and MaryBeth McLear of Rotterdam Junction, on July 30.
The ceremony took place at Mallozzi's, Rotterdam. Rotterdam Town Justice Kevin Mercoglan officiated.

The matron of honor was Nancy Spraker of Mayfield. The bridal attendants were: Jennifer Spraker of Gloversville and Jaclyn Spraker of Mayfield, sisters of the bride; Marisa Spraker of Hagaman, cousin of the bride; Lauren Huber of Cambridge, Washington County; Michele Kowalski of Rotterdam; Kaycee McLear of Cobleskill, Schoharie County.
The best man was John Askew of Rotterdam. The ushers were: Scott Huber of Cambridge; Josh Neal and Bryon Pechtel, both of Rotterdam; and Matthew Swiatocha of Guilderland.
A reception for 120 guests took place at Mallozzi's.
A seven-day cruise to the southern Caribbean followed the wedding. The couple recently purchased their first home in Glenville.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Gloversville High School and is a 2003 graduate of Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She is employed by Wells Fargo Dealer Services, Albany.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Schalmont High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2007 and a master's degree in 2009, both from The College of St. Rose. He is a fourth-grade teacher at the Sacandaga Elementary School in the Scotia-Glenville School District.
