Bethany Ochal, the daughter of Bill and Lori Ochal of Broadalbin, was united in marriage to Robert McCaffrey, the son of Bob and Patti McCaffrey of Amsterdam, at 6 p.m. July 2.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Canfield Casino in Congress Park, Saratoga Springs. The Rev. James Fitzmaurice officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maids of honor were Meghan Ochal of Washington, D.C. and Lindsay Ochal of Broadalbin, both sisters of the bride. The bridal attendants were Ashley Bartosik of Boston, Mass., Kim Westcott of Albany; and Alyssa Lee of Broadalbin, cousin of the bridegroom.
The best man was Ryan Lee of Broadalbin, cousin of the bridegroom. The ushers were Micah Smith and Robert Fetterly, both of Amsterdam and J.D. Fetterly of Atlanta, Ga.; and Jay Ochal of Broadalbin, brother of the bride.
A wedding trip took place in Jamaica. The couple recently moved to Norfolk, Va., with their puppy, Bailey.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School; a 2006 graduate of Canisius College, Buffalo, Erie County, and is completing a doctorate degree in educational psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She works for the Department of Defense at the Joint Forces Staff College, Norfolk, Va.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of BPHS and a 2008 graduate of the State University of New York at Delhi. He is employed by Bank of America.
