I want to send a special thank you to the nurses at the Nathan Littauer Hospital emergency department, especially Mary Nichols and Jen Wilcox, for your outstanding care.
On Friday, my 6-year-old daughter was stung by a bee, and unknown to us, was allergic. She started having breathing difficulties and developing hives. We rushed her to the hospital, where they immediately started an IV and the usual cocktail for this type of injury.
My baby was terrified, and they did such an incredible job of making her feel safe and calm while getting the job done efficiently. Thanks to the entire staff, my daughter is home, feeling great, with only a small area of swelling left to show her badge of courage.
You ladies make me proud to be part of this rewarding career. Thank you so much for taking care of my child as if she were your own.
