Debra Green, daughter of the late Maria Novak, and Gary and Carolyn Green Sr. of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Ronald Bush II, the son of Ronald and Shirley Bush Sr. of Sun City Center, Fla., at 11:30 a.m. July 23.
The ceremony took place at the Perthshire, Amsterdam. Fulton County Surrogate Judge Richard C. Giardino officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father; and her son, Jonathan Gancarz.

The maids of honor were Denise Empie of Johnstown, sister of the bride; and Terry Smith of Galway, Saratoga County. The flower girls were Emma and Bailey Gancarz, granddaughters of the bride.
The best men were Ronald Bush Sr. of Sun City Fla., father of the bridegroom; and Bernadette Valcich of Armonk, Westchester County, sister of the bridegroom. The ringbearer was Luke Valcich, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception for 100 guests took place at the Perthshire in Amsterdam.
A wedding trip to St. Petersburg, Fla., and the Florida Keys is planned for late October.
The bride is: a 1979 graduate of Gloversville High School; attended Vocational Training and Employment Centre for cosmetology from 1978 to 1979; attended Rochester Institute of Teaching, Monroe County, in 2005, and received a New York State barber license in 2006. She is employed at Barone's Barber shop.
The bridegroom is a 1985 graduate of Johnstown High School and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 1987. He is employed at Diversified Automotive Inc.
