Mary Mitchell, the daughter of Gerald and Barbara Mitchell of Caroga Lake, was united in marriage to Michael LaMere, the son of Marsha LaMere of Gloversville, and the late George LaMere, at 2 p.m. July 9.
The ceremony took place at the Church of the Nazarene, Johnstown. Bleecker Town Justice James Olson officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Jennifer Strait of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were: Dawne Becker of Johnstown; Marissa Strait, niece of the bride, and Rebecca Courtney, both of Gloversville. The flower girls were: Gabrielle Strait of Gloversville, niece of the bride; and Jade LaMere of Northville, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Adam Desrochers of Lake Pleasant. The groomsmen were: Michael and Gregory Strait, both of Gloversville, brothers of the bride; and Ryan Sweeney of Gloversville, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception for 100 guests took place at Vincenza's Banquet House, Gloversville.
A wedding trip took place at Niagara Falls. The couple resides in Gloversville.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Johnstown High School and attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She is employed as a ward clerk at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Mayfield High School. He is an emergency medical technician for the Ambulance Service of Fulton County and is a member of the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department.
