CAROGA LAKE - A field of 139 riders took part in Monster Energy Supercross competition Wednesday at Royal Mountain Ski Area.
Palatine Bridge's James Stowell, Johnstown's Kyle Pollak and Fort Plain's Brody Zelezny all posted wins Wednesday.
Stowell won the quad expert class, Pollak won the 122-250cc amateur class and Zelezny won the 122-open novice class.

Edmeston's Brad Williams won the mini 60 and mini 80 9- to 11-year-old classes, while South Cairo's Cody Veverka won the 122-250cc expert and 122-open expert classes.
Other winners included Scotia's Chad Forstell (50cc junior stock 4-6), Edmeston's Tyrick Wheeler (50cc senior stock 7-8), Greenfield's Maxwell Peris (mini quad 51-90cc), Troy's Gene Sydor (quad amateur), East Greenbush's Timothy Cullum (quad novice), Edmeston's Brad Williams (mini 60), Ballston Spa's Derek Bracht (80 plus 10-16), Petersburg's Scott Phelps (plus-30 expert), Melrose's Kenny Bornt (plus-30 amateur), Schodack Landing's Michael Lawlor (122-open amateur), Cobleskill's Ryan Daly (mini 80 12-15) and Johnsonville's Gary Thrane III (122-250cc novice),
Several local riders posted top-five showings.
Fonda's Tyler Blowers was second in the mini 80 9- to 11-year-old class. Blowers also was second in the mini 60 class.
In the mini 80 12- to 15-year-old class, Caroga Lake's Jack Mulyca was second and Amsterdam's Kaitlyn Phillips was fifth.
Mulyca also was second in the 80 plus 10- to 16-year-old class.
Johnstown's Adryan Pelosi was third in the 122-open amateur class, while Fonda's Clayton Blowers was fifth in the plus-30 expert.
In the 50cc junior stock 4- to 6-year-old class, Gloversville's Ronnie Christman was second and Brandon Hoyt was fourth.
Fonda's Dominick Mancini was fifth in the 80 plus 10- to 16-year-old class, while Johnstown's Brandon Handy was fifth in the mini 60 class.
Gloversville's Ricky Achzet was fifth in the quad novice class, while Fonda's Robert Decker was second in the quad amateur.
Amsterdam's Geoffrey Hoyt was second in the mini quad 51-90cc production class.
Royal will motocross event on Saturday and Sunday.
More than 500 riders from around the northeast are expected to compete at Royal this weekend, according to a news release. Riders will compete in classes from 50cc 4- to 6-year-old to plus-40 seniors. All riders must be signed in by 9 a.m. each day with practice beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Royal also will most a motocross event on July 17.
Royal Mountain will host a motorcycle, ATV and snowmobile hillclimb on July 24 at 11 a.m.
