James and Beth Hines of Johnstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Hines, to Joshua Rhodes, the son of Robert and Judy Rhodes of Sammonsville.
Hines is a 2002 graduate of Johnstown High School and received an associate's degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She is employed at Adirondack Eye Care, Gloversville.
Rhodes is a 2002 graduate of Johnstown High School and received an associate's degree in hotel and restaurant management from Schenectady County Community College. He is employed as a chef at The Rail Yard, Gloversville.
