Jonathan and Susan Rhodes of Galway announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Rhodes, to Nick Weaver, the son of Lynne and Alan Weaver of Broadalbin
Rhodes is a granddaughter of Chester and Betty Denison of Galway. She is a 2010 graduate of Galway Central School and is working toward an associate degree in human services at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
Weaver is grandson of Goldie Anderson and the late Gordon "Bucky" Weaver of Broadalbin and Art and Elaine Freitag of Rexford, Saratoga County. He is a 2008 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School and is employed by Power and Composite Technologies Acquisition of Amsterdam.
