Melissa Preston, the daughter of Robert and Sharon Preston of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Michael Renzi, the son of Patrick and Antoniette Renzi of Guilderland and Joann and Frank Benedict of Rotterdam, on Aug. 29, 2010.
The ceremony took place at All Saints Catholic Church, Albany. The Rev. Paul Butler officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Erica Preston of Guilderland, Albany County, sister of the bride.
The bridal attendants were Stanislava Mladenova of Brussels, Belgium, Hannah Hansen of Gloversville, Kristine Cuomo of Rochester, Monroe County, Brianna Benedict of Rotterdam and Theresa Renzi of Guilderland, sisters of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid was Eileen Renzi of Guilderland, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Caitlyn Fonda of Gloversville, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Christopher Capobianco of Dallas, Texas. The ushers include Frank Renzi of Guilderland, brother of the bridegroom, Gregg Kelly of Glenville, Scott Kelly of Scotia and Matthew Radler of Fort Worth, Texas.
A reception for 220 guests took place at Mallozzi's, Rotterdam.
A wedding trip took place in Italy. The couple resides in Guilderland.
The bride is a graduate of Gloversville High School and received a bachelor's degree in communication from the State University of New York College of Fredonia, Chautauqua County. She is the assistant vice president of special events and programs at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons and Hudson Valley Community College. He is the regional accounts manager at Worldwide Express.
