Richard and Ellen Alric of Gloversville announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Alric, to Chad Looman, the son of Paul and Bonnie Looman of Gloversville.
Alric, who is a graduate of Mayfield High School, received a bachelor's degree from Millersville University, Pennsylvania, and a master's degree in liberal arts at McDaniel College in Maryland. She is an English teacher at Southwestern High School, Hanover, Pa.
Looman is a graduate of Gloversville High School and received a bachelor's degree from Western New England College. He is the owner-operator of a small trucking company.
