Jamie Irene Laska, daughter of Mitchell and Karen Passino of Broadalbin, was united in marriage to Daniel James Tomlinson, the son of Guy and MaryAnn Tomlinson of Amsterdam at 1 p.m. on Oct. 9,2010.
The ceremony took place at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. John M. Medwid officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was the bride's sister, ToniJean Wessell of Amsterdam. The bridal attendants were Kayla Houle of Johnstown, Amanda Curran of Endicott, Broome County, Stacey Poslusnzy, Jillian Suchy, Heather St .Pierre and Tatiana Billington, all of Amsterdam. The flower girl was Payton Wessell, niece of bride, who was escorted by her father, Anthony Wessell.
The best man was Matthew Kenna of Amsterdam. The ushers were Adam Houle of Johnstown; Edward Tomlinson, brother of the bridegroom, Sabrina Bottisti, Robert Bush Jr., Stephen Kolbe, and Jason Billington, all of Amsterdam. The ringbearer was Daniel Tomlinson Jr., son of the bride and bridegroom.
A reception took place at the Crystal Restaurant.
A wedding trip is planned for later this year. The couple resides in Amsterdam.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School. She is employed by Liberty Enterprise as a residential supervisor.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Amsterdam High School. He is employed by the Amsterdam Fire Department as a firefighter.
