Andrea McGee, the daughter of Jeffrey and Georgia Baldwin of Broadalbin, was united in marriage to Dr. Jason Shapiro, the son of Arthur Shapiro of Lincoln, R.I. and Phyllis Rubin of Groton, Mass. on Sept. 26, 2010.

The ceremony took place at Fort Adams Park in Newport, R.I. Gregory Rudolph officiated.

The matron of honor was Kimberly McMullen of Johnstown. The bridal attendants include Caitlin MacNeil and Lori Shapiro, sister of the bridegroom, both of Boston, Mass. and Andrea Merisotis of Mrytle Beach, S.C.

The best men were Dr. Philip Chan of Providence, R.I. and Gregory Rudolph of Boston. The ushers include Daniel McGee of Broadalbin, brother of the bride, Dr. David Spar of New York City, Adam Levenson of San Diego, and Seth Tasker of Boston.

A reception for 110 guests took place at the Atlantic Beach Club, Newport.

A wedding trip took place in San Juan and St. Maarten. The couple resides in Providence.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School, a 2002 graduate of Johnson & Wales University, and plans to graduate from the Roger Williams University School of Law this spring.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Lincoln High School, a 2001 graduate of University of Vermont, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Vermont School of Medicine. He is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Hasboro Children's Hospital, Providence.
