There will be a $14 fee with checks or money orders made payable to AARP. There will be a reduction of $2 with proof of an AARP membership. The payment will be accepted on the first day of class.

Register by calling the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 673-2554, 853-5500 or 736-1850, giving name and telephone number. There will be a maximum of 30 students allowed per course.

The AARP safe driving course will give attendees a reduction of 10 percent off their car insurance and re-acquaint them with the rules of the road, a news release said. There will be no age limit for the class. Karen Konik will instruct the course.
