Sherri Lynne Phillips, the daughter of Martha and Phil Beckett of Gloversville and the late Clarence R. Phillips of Randall, was united in marriage to Terry A. Martagon, the son of Linda and Anthony Sambuca of Fonda and Tirso Martagon of Nelliston, at 4 p.m. Oct. 1, 2010.
The ceremony took place at the Fonda Reformed Church. The Rev. Don Pangburn officiated.
The bride was escorted by her son, Tyler D. Phillips of Johnstown.

The matrons of honor were Terri Antis of Gloversville and Tracy Cranker of Fultonville. The bridal attendants were: Katherine Rose of Fultonville; Amanda Wilmot of Johnstown; Michelle Haig of Richmondville, Schoharie County; and Kelly Phillips of Caroga Lake. The junior bridesmaid was Breanna Phillips of Johnstown. The flower girl was Riley Kress of Galway.
The best men were Jeremy Sambuca of New York City and Jeffrey Collins of Johnstown. The ushers were: Dean Jager of Amsterdam, Jamie Tribley of Northville; Keith Dwyer of Johnstown and Rob Kadle of Palm Harbor, Fla. The ringbearer was Jonathan Cranker of Fultonville.
A reception for 120 guests took place at the Johnstown Moose Club.
A wedding trip took place in Aruba. The couple resides in Johnstown.
The bride is a 1991 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School and is employed at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School and a 1995 graduate of Fulton-Montgomery Community College. He is employed by National Grid.
