Ashley Brooks, the daughter of Harry and Susan Brooks of Broadalbin, was united in marriage to Jason Hoogkamp, the son of Brian and Karen Hoogkamp of Slingerlands, Albany County, at noon Sept. 18, 2010.
The ceremony took place at the Perthshire. Lake Placid Village Justice William Hulshoff officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Christine Quackenbush of Middle Grove, Saratoga County. The bridal attendants were Hannah Arnold of Saranac Lake, Franklin County, and Nicole and Melissa Quackenbush, both of Amsterdam. The flower girl was Alivia Peters of Glenmont, Albany County, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Michael Morris of Delmar, Albany County. The ushers were: Joseph Hoogkamp of Glenmont, brother; Patrick Hoogkamp of Elsmere, Albany County, brother; and Jeremy Kondrat of Glenmont. The ringbearer was Joseph Brooks of Brooklyn, Kings County, nephew of the bride.
A reception for 120 guests took place at the Perthshire banquet facility.
A wedding trip took place in the Bahamas. The couple resides in Lake Placid, Essex County.
The couple owns and operates Ashley's Cafe, Lake Placid.
