Samantha Lynn Martin, the daughter of Peter and Susan Martin of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Adam Russell Desrochers, the son of Clarence and Michele Desrochers of Lake Pleasant, on Oct. 9, 2010.
The ceremony took place at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville. The Rev. Rendell Torres officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Sheena Poultney of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were: Ashley Dwyer of Johnstown; Jessica Isolda-Coolidge and Elizabeth Conroy, aunt of the bride, both of Gloversville; and Linnea Olson of Bleecker. The junior bridesmaid was Rhyanna Simmons of Tribes Hill. The flower girl was Julia Murray of Gloversville, niece of the bride and bridegroom
The best man was Michael LaMere of Gloversville. The ushers were: Zachary Martin, brother of the bride, and Jason Whitman, both of Mayfield; Kevin Desrochers of Lake Pleasant, brother of the bridegroom; and Bryan Knapp of Gloversville. The ringbearer was Ryan Sweeney of Mayfield.
A reception for 175 guests took place at the Robin's Nest, Broadalbin.
A wedding trip to Alaska in the next few years is planned. The couple resides in Gloversville.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Mayfield Central School and is an emergency medical technician for the Greater Amsterdam Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Wells Central School and is an EMT for the Ambulance Service of Fulton County.
