Jennifer Petersen, the daughter of David and Christine Petersen of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Kevin Jette, the son of Edward and Susan Jette of Amsterdam, at 5 p.m. Nov. 13, 2010.
The ceremony took place at the Christ Lutheran Church, Johnstown. The Rev. Neil Jones, uncle of the bridegroom, and the Rev. David Almleaf officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Jennifer Bushey of Ephratah. The bridal attendants were Peyton Petersen of Johnstown, Kate McRedmond of Hawaii, Stephanie Bartz of Grand Forks, N.D., Jamie Carr of Clifton Park and Tiffany Varlaro of Cazenovia, Madison County. The junior bridesmaid was Alexis O'Dell of Broadalbin, niece of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Amelia Petersen of Johnstown, niece of the bride.
The best man was Lt. Col. Kyle Jette of Alexandria, Va., brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Dennis Guisti Jr. of Chicago, Ill., Stephen Carpe, David Montenaro, Terry Hudson and Gary Morin, all of Amsterdam. The ushers were Cesar Ortiz, Gary Kozlowski, Mark Kugler, Gerardo Ramirez and Michael McNamara. The ringbearers were Carter Petersen, nephew of the bride, and Luke and Jack Jette, nephews of the bridegroom.
A reception for 200 guests took place at the Glen Sanders Mansion.
The bride is a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School, the University of Michigan and the University at Albany. She is a teacher/coach at Colonie High School.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Amsterdam High School, the College of St. Rose, and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. He is a teacher/coach at Colonie High School.
