Catherine "Carey" Ryan, the daughter of Dawn and Walter Ryan of Mayfield, was united in marriage to Scott McDonald, the son Eileen and James McDonald of Lansdale, Pa., on Oct. 9, 2010.

The ceremony took place at St. Francis Catholic Church, Hoboken, N.J. The Rev. Michael Guglielmelli officiated. The bride was escorted by her mother and father.

The bridal attendants were: Temple Paque of Salem, Ore.; Molly Nichols of Portland, Ore.; Jodi Werner of Ballston Spa; Kelly McGuirl of Weehawken, N.J.; Dana Babyak of Bradford, Mass.; Gabrielle O'Connor of New Zealand and Eden Shullenberger of Erie, Colo.

The best man was the bridegroom's brother, Brian McDonald, of Havertown, Pa. The groomsmen were: Christopher O'Brian of Manayunk, Pa.; Christopher Cedar of Montville, N.J.; Matthew Loper of Hillsboro, N.J.; David Henkel of Monte Clare, Pa.; and Joseph Lucchese of Middletown, N.J.

Louisa Kemmer of Morrisville, N.C., and Robert Guenther of New Jersey did the readings for the ceremony.

A reception took place at the Chart House restaurant in Weehawken, N.J., on the Hudson River, overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

A wedding trip took place in Hawaii. The couple resides in Hoboken, N.J.

The bride is a graduate of Mayfield Central School and has a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of New Hampshire. She is employed as a director at Citibank, New York City.

The bridegroom is a graduate of North Penn High School and has a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Villanova University and a master's degree in engineering management from Steven's Institute of Technology. He is employed as a project manager at Avalue, Tinton Falls, N.J.
