Alicia May Ball, the daughter of Katherine May Ball of Mayfield and the late David K. Ball, was united in marriage to George Joseph Pesce, the son of Dorothy and Matthew Mulligan of Fort Plain, at 2 p.m. Aug. 21, 2010.

The ceremony took place in Myers Park, Gloversville. Northampton Town Justice Paulette Lewek officiated.

The bride was escorted by her son, Collin Ball.

The maid of honor was Barbara E. Watkins of Johnstown. The bridal attendants were Katherine Ball, mother of the bride; Lucy Sandner of Gloversville and Alexis E. Fisher of Johnstown. The miniature bride was Hannah M. Ball, daughter of the bride.

The best man was Anthony C. Pesce of Schenectady. The ushers were Davey Ball, brother of the bride; and Brian Ellis of Mayfield. The ringbearer was Davey Ball Jr.

The couple resides in Johnstown.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Johnstown High School. She has been employed at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility for the past 10 years as a certified nurses' assistant.

The bridegroom is a 1958 graduate of Fort Plain Central School and was employed by the New York state Department of Transportation for 36 years.
