Clark and Kay Mead of Hagaman celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Jan. 1 at their home with family and friends in attendance.
The couple married Jan. 1, 1956, in the parsonage of the Northville Methodist Church. The attendants were Harold Chamberlain and Nancy Mead, sister of the bridegroom.
The former Kay Fancher of West Day, Saratoga County, is a retired school bus driver for the Edinburg School District. She enjoys working on daily crossword puzzles, the Saratoga Races during the summer meet and quality time with her family.

Clark Mead is a retired carpenter for the New York Thruway system. He enjoys carpentry and masonry home projects and working in his vegetable garden during the summer.
They have: five children, Lori Mead of Hagaman, Lynn Richardson of Gloversville, Larry Mead of Clifton Park, Rich Mead of Broadalbin and Stacey Rozzelle of Ohio; and three grandsons, Kyle and Cole Mead and Pierre "Trey" Rozzelle.
