Wayne and Deborah McCann of Gloversville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica McCann, to David Howard, the son of Charles Howard and the late Barbara Howard of Bessemer City, N.C.
McCann, who is the granddaughter of Alfred and Shirley Sanges of Gloversville and Richard and Gloria McCann of Plant City, Fla., received a doctor of pharmacy degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy. She is a pharmacy manager for the Walmart Pharmacy, Belmont, N.C.
Howard is a 1992 graduate of Bessemer City High School and a 2003 graduate of Isothermal Community College. He is a professional driver with Tidewater Transit.
