Kathy and Emmeren Baker of Gloversville announce the engagement of their daughter, Della Baker, to Frank Ferraro III, the son of Patricia and Frank Ferraro Jr. of Niskayuna.
Baker, who is a graduate of Gloversville High School, received a bachelor's degree in child and family studies from the State University of New York at Oneonta, Otsego County. She is employed at The Family Counseling Center, Gloversville, as the Mobile Crisis Program coordinator.
Ferraro, who is a graduate of Colonie High School, received an associate degree in criminal justice from Schenectady County Community College. He is employed by Hannaford, Niskayuna, as a department manager.

The couple resides in Rotterdam. They became engaged inside the dugout at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
A wedding is planned for Oct. 1.
