Program slated at Red Rooster cafe

January 1, 2011
Leader Herald

NORTHVILLE - On Thursday at 12:30 p.m., Judy Mirczak, instructor, will demonstrate movements and talk about T'ai Chi Chih's origin at the Red Rooster Cafe.

January birthdays also will be celebrated, a news release said.

The program will be sponsored by The Sacandaga Task Force for Senior Living and follows the weekly congregate meal, which will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Those interested in participating in a senior stretch class with instructor Ony Antonucci can attend the sessions from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at a cost of $5 per session or $25 for six sessions. Attendees can come every week or as they can. They will pay only for the weeks they attend. Attendees can attend Red Rooster Cafe programs without attending the meal, bring a bag lunch to join the meal or attend the meal only.

Those want the Office for Aging meal can call OFA at 736-5650 to make lunch reservations. If unable to attend the luncheon, call OFA to cancel the meal. If the OFA meal site is closed, there will be no program at the Red Rooster Cafe that day.

A swap table is available at the Red Rooster Cafe each week. Bring a used book, magazine, or puzzle to swap with others.
