Monica Bedell, the daughter of Gregory and Roberta Bedell of Edinburg, was united in marriage to Kevin McGuire, the son of Ray McGuire of Canajoharie and Tonja Hickman of Deland, Fla. at 2 p.m. Oct. 23.

The ceremony took place at the Herman Myers Memorial Park, Gloversville. The Rev. Tim Cox officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Tanya Southworth of Gloversville, sister of the bride. The bridal attendant was Tanya Jasewicz of Broadalbin, cousin of the bridegroom. The flower girls were Allee Jasewicz and Natalie Southworth.

The best man was Ernie McGuire of Gloversville, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsman was Daryl Jasewicz of Broadalbin, cousin of the bridegroom. The ringbearer was Joshua Bedell of Edinburg, brother of the bride.

A reception took place at The Winners Circle, Fonda.

A wedding trip was taken to Lake George. The couple resides in Gloversville.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Northville Central School and is a student studying to be a nurse at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School and is employed at Target Distribution, Amsterdam.
