Avery and Kelly Carney of Morganton, N.C., are the parents of a girl, Peyton Lynn Carney, born at 1:58 a.m. Sept. 22, at Iredell Memorial Hospital, Statesville, N.C., weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.
The maternal grandparents are Anne Smith of Amsterdam and the late Bruce Gardinier of Gloversville. The maternal great-grandfather is Floyd Gardinier of Amsterdam.
The paternal grandparents are Victor Carney of Marshall, N.C. and Debbie Lisenbee of Mars Hill, N.C.
