Dr. R.W. and Lorraine Williams of Northville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Fireside Restaurant in Gloversville.
The couple married Oct. 22, 1960, in South Africa.
R.W. and Lorraine Williams have been in the church ministry their entire married lives. R.W. Williams also worked at the Tryon Residential Center for a number of years and is now the chaplain of Mountain Valley Hospice.

Lorraine Williams, who is semi-retired, has worked for Lexington for 30 years and still continues to work part time.
Their son and daughter with spouses are Janien and Phil Brown and Ralph and Terry Williams. Their four grandchildren are Isaac and Hannah Brown and Lindsey and Austin Williams.
