FONDA - A Sprakers man pleaded guilty last week to stealing a credit card.

Lawrence M. Flinton, 19, of 1372 Logtown Road, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny in Montgomery County Court before Judge Felix Catena.

The charge stems from an Aug. 5 incident in Root in which Flinton took a credit card.

Sentencing was adjourned until May 10, when Flinton is expected to receive five years of probation.

In another case, Robert P. English, 49, of 71 W. Grand St., Palatine Bridge, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary Nov. 9 before Catena.

English was arrested for stealing money from Gabriana's Pizza in September.

Sentencing was adjourned until May 9, when English is expected to receive five years of probation and be ordered to pay $410 in restitution.
