Brittany Edwards, the daughter of Kevin Edwards and Rhonda Brown of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Mark Tomek, the son of RoJennna Ahrens, at 5 p.m. Aug. 14.

The ceremony took place at Pine Lake Park. Caroga Town Justice James Subik officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Alisha Holcomb of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were Heather Zugzda of Johnstown, Amy Rottman of North Carolina, Jamie Esposito of Gloversville, Laura Snell of Glen, and Allyson Moore of Montana.

The best man was William Tomek of Gloversville. The groomsmen were Joseph Zugzda, Brandon and Kevin Edwards, all of Johnstown; and Monte Esposito and Stanley Tomek, both of Gloversville.

A reception for 170 guests took place at the Pine Lake Park.

A wedding trip was on a Western Caribbean Cruise. The couple resides in Johnstown.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2009 graduate of The College of Saint Rose in Albany. She is a substitute teacher and owner of Brittany's Diner, Ephratah.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School.
