Danielle L. Barker, the daughter of David and Suzanne Groff of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Chad W. Hartwig, the son of Charles and Carol Hartwig of Buffalo, at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 4.
The ceremony took place at the Holy Trinity Church. The Rev. Kenneth Swain officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Barbara Rodecker of Johnstown, aunt of the bride. The bridal attendants were: Kayla Subik of Johnstown; Brandi Klim of Randall, cousin of the bride; Natasha Derby of Clifton Park; Carina Harkins and Catelyn Hartwig of Buffalo, sisters of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid was Chelsea Rodecker of Johnstown, cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Abigail Rodecker of Johnstown, cousin of the bride and Sophia Harkins of Buffalo, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Chuck Watson of Syracuse, Onondaga County. The ushers were: Chase Hartwig of Buffalo, brother of the bridegroom; Jeff Hardy and Steve Stunkel of Buffalo; Brian Plunkett of San Diego, Calif.; Ron Harkins of Buffalo; and Connor Rodecker of Johnstown, cousin of the bride.
A reception for 130 guests took place at The Terrace at The Waters Edge, Glenville.
The couple resides in Johnstown.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2004 graduate of the University at Albany. She is an associate generalist at the Center for the Disabled, Albany.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Wilson High School and a 2005 graduate of Utica College. He is a regional sales and marketing consultant at Delorinos-Violet Packaging, Utica.
