Jessica Elizabeth Cichy, the daughter of Thomas and Sue Cichy of Mayfield, was united in marriage to Samuel E. Zimmerman, the son of Ronald and Petrina Zimmerman of Gloversville, at 4 p.m. Aug. 13.

The ceremony took place at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville. The Rev. Paul Butler of the All Saints Church in Albany officiated, and the very Rev. Donald Czelusniak and the Rev. Quy Vo of the Holy Family Parish in Albany co-officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Elisabeth Minich of Binghamton, Broome County. The matron of honor was Katie Alexander of Driggs, Idaho. The bridal attendants were Suzanne Perham of Northville, Katie Streeter of Virginia Beach, Va., and Amy Zimmerman of Albany, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Kaelyn Opalha of Amsterdam, cousin.

The best man was Christopher Wojeski of Gloversville. The ushers were Charles Rossbach of Rensselaer, Michael DesJardin of Utica, Oneida County, Dale Taylor of Albany, John Ridzi of Clifton Park, Saratoga County and Zachary and Keegan Garnet of Johnstown, nephews of the bride.

A reception took place at Mallozzi's, Schenectady.

A wedding trip took place in Italy and Greece. The couple resides in Gloversville.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Skidmore College and a 2008 graduate of the College of Saint Rose. She is a teacher.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Siena College and is a financial adviser for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
