John and Angie Savage of Gloversville announce the engagement of their daughter, Debbie Savage, to Christopher Pratt of Ballston Spa, the son of Doug and Betty Pratt of Southport, N.C.
Savage, who is a graduate of Gloversville High School, received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the College of St. Rose and a master's degree in developmental reading from the State University of New York at Albany. She is a third-grade teacher at Boulevard Elementary School, Gloversville.
Pratt, who is a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, received a bachelor's degree in natural resource development from the University of Rhode Island and a master of business administration degree from SUNY Empire State College of Saratoga Springs. He is a business systems analyst at Davis Vision, Latham.
