Vern and Peggy Jackson of Johnstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Jackson, to Adam Lawton, the son of Steve and Marie Lawton of Montour Falls, Schuyler County.
Jackson is a 1995 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 1999 graduate of Elmira College. She is employed by The Arc of Schuyler, Watkins Glen, Schuyler County.
Lawton is a 1998 graduate of Odessa-Montour Central School and a 2005 graduate of Elmira College. He is employed by the Schuyler County Youth Bureau.
