Henry and Jane Blizzard of Wells celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary recently with a Saturday brunch at The Inn at Speculator. There were approximately 75 guests who attended from the surrounding area, as well as family from Syracuse, Long Island, Baltimore, Md., and Cleveland, Ohio.
The couple married on Sept. 7, 1940, at The Church of Our Holy Redeemer in Freeport, Nassau County. They have three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, most of whom were at the event.
