Dawn and Walter Ryan of Mayfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine "Carey" Ann Ryan, to Scott McDonald, the son of Eileen and James McDonald of Lansdale, Pa.
Ryan is a graduate of Mayfield Central High School and received a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of New Hampshire. She is employed as a director at Citibank, New York City.
McDonald is a graduate of North Penn High School and received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Villanova University and a master's degree in engineering management from Steven's Institute of Technology. He is employed as a project manager at Avalue, Tinton Falls, N.J.
