50-Plus Club hosts events

JOHNSTOWN -The following are for the 50-Plus Club, housed in the Shirley J. Luck Senior Citizens Center, 109 E. Main St.

On Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. the club will host the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired at a vision exposition. The event is open to everyone with many community organizations coming to display service information.

On Friday, members and guests are invited to join club members on a "ladies day out" to Gray's Greenhouse, Ripepi's for lunch and on to Palatine Cheese Store on the return to the city.

On Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. all club officers should plan to attend the Fulton County Senior Council meeting in Lassellsville.

The senior center will have a secondary computer class Wednesdays from Oct. 6 to 27, at 9:30 a.m. Anyone interested in attending the classes need to sign up and pay a nominal fee in the center's business office.
