FONDA - The 13th annual senior picnic, sponsored by the Montgomery County Office for Aging, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Fonda Fairgrounds.
Mike Wancewicz will provide big band and polka music. The exhibitors will have information about their services and products. Bingo with prizes is on the agenda for the morning. Lunch will be served at noon. Adults ages 60 and older are invited to attend the event.
In an effort to assist Montgomery County senior citizens during the upcoming holiday season, the OFA will have boxes to collect non-perishable food items or cash donations. The names of those who donate will be included in a special prize drawing.
The tickets are available at the OFA, 135 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, for $8.
